Our board reflects a variety and wealth of knowledge, experience, and perspectives from across Moray

Members meet regularly to discuss tsiMORAY’s vision, direction and role whilst ensuring good governance supports our work.  

Andrew Anderson


Retired Head of Partnerships at HIE Moray and Head of Community Land Unit for HIE, with experience of multi-partner projects involving the public/private and third sectors, community ownership and economic development.

Don Vass


Member of the steering group which set up tsiMORAY and Chair since its establishment.  An effective facilitator, he has led the development of tsiMORAY as an effective representative for the local third sector.

Gillian Pirie


Gill is a Volunteer Development Officer with experience of working within Health and Social Care in both local government and the third sector.

She’s dedicated to empowering people in Moray to contribute their skills and build stronger, more inclusive, and resilient communities through the positive impact of volunteering.

Irena Paterson


Years of experience dealing with such diverse issues as health and social care, elderly and disabilities.  Involvement in Moray from the days of setting up the PPF and Better Community Engagement to the Health and Social Care Partnership.

Lee McGrath


Manager of ReBOOT in Forres, BSc Rural Development graduate from UHI and facilitator with the Social Enterprise Academy running both adult and schools workshops. 18+ years working in the Third Sector, specialising in Social Enterprise and Environmental disciplines.

Malcolm McNeil


Deputy Chief Executive of a leading Housing Association with extensive insight and experience in relation to strategy, governance, finance, HR, Risk Management and social housing. Currently the treasurer of tsiMORAY

Sam Dowdall


Sam is Community and Heritage Development Manager at The Cabrach Trust, bringing to bare projects that centre on rural communities and engagement, heritage, wellbeing and rural skills, with experience in both commercial and third sector, sharing her skills, knowledge and experience of community engagement and planning, strategic planning and marketing and communications with the organisation.
